Building Permits
Sherburne County serves as Orrock Township's zoning authority. Building permits, variances, conditional use permits, interim use permits must all go through Sherburne County Planning and Zoning. Driveway Permits (Access to Township Road)
To add a new access to a township road from personal or commercial property you must apply for a driveway permit through Orrock Township. You can download an application here and return to Orrock Township when complete.

When your driveway is installed and and ready for final inspection, email the Driveway Escrow Release Request to the clerk's office. A final inspection will then be scheduled.

Title and closing companies requesting any pending township assessments should mail the request to Orrock Township. The current fee is $25 per parcel.

Before a homeowner can enter into an encroachment/license agreement with the township, the homeowner must apply for the encroachment/license agreement.
