Demolition and excavation of the building.
Site work on the building project began.
While excavating for the new parking lot area, that was previously dirt, remnants of a small building were found buried. To maintain the integrity of the new parking lot, a soil expert engineer and the architect recommended removing the concrete and weathered dimensional lumber and back filling and compacting the area. A change order in the amount of $7,586 was approved by the board in a 4-1 vote. The board is closely monitoring the project budget and the project budget is still well-under the budget amount that was approved by the electorate (residents) at the March 2023 Annual Meeting.
