At the March 14, 2023 Annual Town Meeting, the electorate (citizens) voted to approve the building of a new town hall on the existing site at a maximum cost of $823,000.

Site work on the building project began.
While excavating for the new parking lot area, that was previously dirt, remnants of a small building were found buried. To maintain the integrity of the new parking lot, a soil expert engineer and the architect recommended removing the concrete and weathered dimensional lumber and back filling and compacting the area. A change order in the amount of $7,586 was approved by the board in a 4-1 vote.
